A well-researched paradox about professional women describes the inverse correlation between success and likeability (or put more bluntly, when it comes to getting ahead at the office, nice girls finish last.) Female entrepreneurship and the social web are turning that paradox on its head, however, suggesting the new model of female professional success has everything to do with likeability.

In this session we’ll tackle questions such as: is being likeable the same as being popular? Can you be nice without surrendering your effectiveness? What can bloggers learn from women in conventional professional roles, and vice versa?
